Kirkenes Expeditions started from a genuine appreciation for Northern Norway’s nature and unique border culture. I’ve spent many days exploring Kirkenes and the surrounding areas, learning about the region’s history, landscapes, and everyday life. Over time, it felt natural to share these experiences with others. For me, this is about offering small, personal tours where guests can get closer to the place itself — its stories, its people, and its atmosphere — away from the larger tourist crowds.

As a Norwegian who has spent many years living and working in the High North, I feel a strong connection to this region and a genuine desire to share it with others. Here, the Arctic is not just a destination — it is everyday life. The seasons, the shifting light, and the long winters shape how we live and move in nature. As a certified summer and winter tour leader through the Norwegian Trekking Association, I bring solid outdoor experience and a strong commitment to safety and responsible guiding.
Having traveled to more than 140 countries, I understand what it feels like to arrive somewhere new with curiosity and expectation. That perspective shapes every tour I lead. My goal is to offer experiences that are personal, thoughtful, and truly rooted here in the heart of the Barents Euro-Arctic Region.
